LIBRARY HOURS & LITERACY NIGHTS:

8:00a.m- 3:45 p.m.

Our school will be organizing Family Literacy Nights once a month to promote the importance of literacy among families. These sessions will be announced via multiple communication channels, including Facebook, Class Dojo, and the school calendar that will be sent home with students. We believe that these events will be a great opportunity for families to come together and learn about the latest literacy practices, share their experiences, and develop a love for reading that will last a lifetime.

TAKE OUR READING CHALLENGE:

Our students are tasked with reading challenges and AR goals to achieve every six weeks. In each class, the King and Queen of words will be crowned, and students who meet their goal will receive an AR incentive at the end of the six weeks. Additionally, we offer the Global Reading Scholar Challenge, where students are presented with an age-appropriate word challenge to accomplish by the end of the 5th six weeks. We actively encourage our students to read for at least 20 minutes each day.
